COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION (CHED)
As an autonomous school, T.I.P. reserves the right to determine and prescribe curricular programs without the need for prior CHED approval. It may offer extension classes and remote courses to expand access to higher education as well as establish linkages with foreign recognized HEIs in pursuit of international standards.
T.I.P. also has the authority to grant honorary degrees to deserving individuals in accordance with existing CHED provisions, and is likewise entitled to subsidies and other financial incentives and assistance from the Commission.
