T.I.P. Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP)
This program aims to contribute to the development of globally competitive professionals through academic equivalency and accreditation of relevant learning experiences gained in the workplace while upholding the institution’s quality policies, standards, and core values. It is open to all undergraduates who did not finish their college education, hence, were unable to receive their bachelor’s degree.

Who can enroll?
Prospective Enrollees
- T.I.P. and non-T.I.P. students who stopped schooling but are now employed
- Employed graduates who may want to earn a second degree
- Employees of T.I.P. industry partners
- Undergraduate employees of business establishments and local government units
- Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)
- Others who may be qualified
Qualifications
- A Filipino citizen and at least 23 years old as supported by PSA birth certificate;
- Employed for an aggregate period of at least five (5) years in the industry, related to the academic degree or discipline, where equivalency of learning is being sought; and
- Possess a high school diploma or a Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT)/Alternative Learning System certification stating “qualified to enter first year college.”
Admission Requirements
- Accomplished ETEEAP application and preliminary assessment forms with recent 1x1 ID picture and supporting documents, training certificates, recognitions, awards, etc.
- School credentials: Transcript of Records, Diploma, Form 137/138
- Comprehensive curriculum vitae
- Statement of ownership/authenticity of credentials/supporting documents
- Endorsement letter from the last, or the current employer
- Other documents (PSA birth certificate, barangay clearance/NBI clearance/passport, marriage certificate [for married woman])
- Provide proof/evidence to support/demonstrate compliance with the General and Program Criteria of ABET EAC (CpE & IE) and ABET CAC (CS & IT) Requirements, and all other accreditation/assessment requirements, that shall be discussed during the Application Process.
- Other evidences to support capability and knowledge in the field for equivalency and accreditation
Assessment Procedure and Fees
Procedure
STEP 1 |
The applicant submits the accomplished application form and supporting documents. |
STEP 2 |
An ETEEAP staff checks and evaluates the completeness of the submitted documents. |
STEP 3 |
The staff turns over the applicant’s credentials to the assessors for further evaluation. |
STEP 4 |
The Chair and Dean endorse the competency evaluation results and certificate of competency to the ETEEAP Head. |
STEP 5 |
The ETEEAP Head recommends the competency evaluation results and certificate of competency to the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA). |
STEP 6 |
The VPAA approves the competency evaluation results and certificate of competency. |
STEP 7 | The applicant complies with the recommended enrichment courses/learning packages. |
STEP 8 |
The assessor submits the evaluation results with a certificate of competency noted by the Chair and Dean. |
